I am having trouble finding out the correct law based on statutory rape. In the state of Nebraska, is it legal for a 17 year old (in about 6 months would be 18) to be with someone over the age of 21 WITH PARENTAL CONSENT? Or could that older person face criminal charges? Please answer [...]

Why does Nebraska not place restrictions on the law to only include Nebraska residents along with the age limits? It is ridiculous that people drive 1,000’s of miles to drop off their children in Nebraska. Nebraska should not be the place to bring your children if you are tired of them.
