What are the underage drinking laws of North Dakota?

Okay, Im 20 and will turn 21 in March. I need to know if it is legal for me to drink in my own house with (or without) my parent(s) around. I tried searching but the sparse results (probably due to having a tiny population, thus not much info) varied. One place said "You must be 21 to drink alcohol in North Dakota, as in any other state" which is an outright lie because I know for a fact that in some states it is perfectly legal to drink underage, in your house, with your parents. Youthrights.com said "No one under the age of 21 is allowed to manufacture, purchase, consume, or possess alcohol. Also it’s illegal to enter any licensed premises where alcohol is being sold or displayed, except a restaurant when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian". However, I have gone into the liquor store on a couple occasions, assured by my legal age (then) boyfriend that it was fine as long as I was with someone over 21 and I wasnt visibly picking out alcohol for them to buy me. I never got in any trouble for it and wasnt even carded.

Please note that North Dakota is a very prudish state, and we have a number of ridiculous laws for alcohol. My favorite is that Liquor stores much be in a separate location from the rest of the store, with its own entrance, as if it were a porn shop. Ironically, we have the biggest underage drinking "problem" in the country. Im hoping for a loophole.

Sorry, but there’s no loophole in the State Law. You’re just going to have to wait until your 21.
